EBBW Vale will become home to a new enterprise zone specialising in the motor industry, Welsh Business Minister Edwina Hart announced
The minister said she was exploring the potential for an enterprise zone in Ebbw Vale, which would specialise in the automotive businesses to “build on the strong local tradition of engineering”.
This is welcome news for Principality who has a track record in the automotive sector. The team project managed for the Society of Welsh Motor Manufacturers and worked with the Welsh Automotive Forum, plus many of the industry suppliers including Ford, Cobra, Linpac Limited, Blackwood Engineering, Ribbons Limited, Makefast Limited, Bosch, Bosal Valeo and more recently Nidum Precision Tooling, Magor Design Limited and Senior Flexonics.
A real opportunity for firms available now is the eBusiness programme. We are an approved consultancy supplier and implement most of the more complex projects coming out of this scheme. Our remit has this week been extended to undertaking the initial diagnostics (FOC subject to eligibility).
